Why I Like Working for Accurate:

I enjoy working for Accurate because of the customer-first culture and the team atmosphere with my co-workers. 

History with Accurate:

After graduating high school from Piketon HS, I enrolled in a comprehensive six-month HVAC course at a technical school in Jackson Ohio. In the spring of 1980, I was hired at Accurate Heating and Cooling where I spent the first few weeks working in the installation department. By mid-summer, I moved to the service department where I spent the next six years as a service technician for commercial and residential customers.

In 1987, I was hired by the Pike County Vocational Center as an instructor for the HVAC program. Specifically, to teach the junior class. I completed the required classes at Ohio State University and taught at the school for the next two years. And, honestly, two years was enough.  I went back to work at Accurate Heating after that as the service manager. 

I worked for the next 5 years as a service manager for commercial and residential customers. After that, I transferred into residential Installation and Sales…. Which is where I am today.

A Bit About My Family, Hobbies, and Service:

I have been married to Diane for 41 years.  We have two sons; Aaron and Joshua, two daughters-in-law; Kristina and Jacqueline, and three grandchildren; Parker, Cameron, and Elenore.

Hobbies are fishing, boating, camping, ATV, Motorcycle rides.  Ministry is an important part of my life and I play guitar and sing in the praise and worship group at Buchanan CU Church. Also, I teach Sunday school and am involved in special event coordination.
