Type I hoods are designed for use above grease producing equipment. Accurex hoods
are UL 710 Listed and available in several styles and configurations. Hoods can be built in single section lengths from 4-16
feet. Longer hoods are available in multiple sections and can appear as on utilizing our continuous capture option to improve
aesthetics. Accurex grease hoods feature: - UL 710 Listed and bears
the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Seal of Approval (Standard 2)
- Rated for 400°F,
600°F, 700°F
- Standard construction is a minimum of 18 gauge 430 stainless steel with
an embossed finish
- Longer hoods are available in multiple sections and can be made to appear
as one hood by utilizing our continuous capture option to improve performance and aesthetics
- Includes
Performance Enhancing Lip (PEL) to improve capture efficiency by turning air back into the hood

The ANSUL® R-102™ Liquid Agent System continues to be the #1 protector of today’s kitchen
equipment. Choose from either of two design options…
Appliance-Specific Design. The most
efficient fire protection is accomplished when nozzles are selected and aimed at specific hazard areas on each appliance.
This method typically provides the most economical use of liquid agent reducing the size or quantity of storage tanks and
associated hardware.
Overlapping Appliance Protection. When flexibility and simplicity are most
important, nozzles are placed in a straight-line arrangement providing overlapping agent discharge patterns. This creates
a virtual fire-free zone where appliances of various types and sizes are protected - even if they are replaced or rearranged
under the hood

The Amerex KP Restaurant System is a pre-engineered, wet chemical, stored-pressure type with a fixed nozzle
agent distribution network. The system is listed by Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc., ULC
and tested to U.L. Standard 300. The system shall be designed, installed and maintained in accordance with: Amerex Part No.
12385 “Design, Installation and Maintenance Manual”, N.F.P.A. 96, N.F.P.A. 17A, local codes and ordinances by
an Authorized Amerex KP Systems Distributor using factory trained personnel.
